About Vilnius:


The largest city and the capital of the country (541 824 inhabitants). Vilnius was first mentioned in written sources in 1323. The most of inhabitants in the capital are Lithuanians – 57,8 %, other ethnical groups are as follows: Poles – 18,7 %, Russians – 14 %, Belarusians – 4 %, Ukrainians – 1,3 % and Jews – 0,5 % and others – 5 %.
